In this role you will:
- Prepare monthly journal entries including consolidating entries from multiple subsidiaries
- Participate in month-end close process
- Utilize financial skills for analysis of the balance sheet and income statements
- Prepare monthly reconciliations
- Audit and substantiate financial transactions, as well as maintain complete and accurate general ledgers
- Assist with SOX audit work as needed to ensure corporate compliance
- Assist in preparation of audit schedules and support for external auditors
- Assist in enhancing the financial system reporting tool (FRx) to provide more accurate reports for use within the business unit
- Utilize accounting skills to enhance procedures and regulations
Requirements:
Our ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum 4 years of experience in accounting and finance. CPA preferred. Sales and Use tax reporting and Great Plains experience a plus.
